The Origins of Ukrainian Legacy

Hey there! I'm Viki Virgo, the founder of Ukrainian Legacy. I was born in Mariupol and raised in Volnovakha (Donetsk region). Sadly, both places are destroyed and currently under occupation, affecting our Ukrainian culture deeply.

 

My journey began with a focus on preserving the culture of my native Donetsk region.​Sharing my activities on my Insta blog, I realized that people from different countries of the world lack even a basic understanding of what a real Ukrainian culture is. It seemed as the modern world just discovered such a people as the Ukrainians, although our history is more than a thousand years old.​

 

In the desire to introduce people all over the world to the depth and beauty of  my native culture, an ethnic store was born, which, without thinking long, I named "Ukrainian Legacy". Whether you're adding a piece of Ukrainian art to your home or gifting it to someone with Ukrainian ties, Ukrainian Legacy ensures our cultural treasure finds a place in hearts around the world.
